fantastic central spot for parks and landmarks

I loved how the hotel was just a few steps from Imatrankoski with fine views and was perfect for leisurely walks, and the nearby Kettle holes added a unique natural element to my exploration in the heart of the city.

The shower in the room felt outdated!!! The fitness center is small and poorly lit. A real letdown!!! Steps could be a struggle for older guests!!!

The hotel is definitely recommended to everyone. Competent and decent people that welcomes you in. The room is modern with coffee. They serve outstanding food, have a wide range of options to choose from...

The location turned out to be particularly good, near to the center of Imatra-near the russian border as well as the castle in a beautiful and historic hall.

A Perfect Escape in Imatra

We enjoyed lovely breakfasts with beautiful views and a good dinner at the hotel restaurant. The architecture impresses, and the walk between the buildings through the tunnel adds a charming touch. For great experiences, check the rapids nearby-don't miss the fine scenery!

Captures the historic charm of the area. Our room was comfortable and clean, but the lack of air conditioning made for a warm night. The breakfast selection was excellent, although it could have featured fresher bread.

Unfortunately, breakfast wasn’t included at weekend. As usually, we was sad that there`s no shopping in Imatra on Sunday & there`re no places enough to have early breakfast & late dinner around the city center. Also we were disappointed to find out that famous water flow actives for a short time & we missed it again. But all the indicated dissatisfactions don’t apply to the hote, just to finish interior policy we`re forced to “eat dirt” .

great location but missed the river view

The location next to the rapids is perfect and adds a unique charm to the stay. The breakfast was great with an excellent variety of options. The room was immaculate and featured thoughtful amenities that enhanced our comfort. We appreciated the convenient access between the new building and the original architecture via the tunnel.

Unfortunately, we arrived too late to experience the river's fine views during the daytime.

Nice location!

Hotel is OK, but the price is a bit steep compared to what you actually get. I would certainly not classify this hotel as a spa hotel, but with a 3 star hotel with some basic spa facilities. For men there is only one sauna and two or three jacuzzis, that's it. The rooms are OK, but need to be renovated in the near future. The hotel looks luxurious, but it is not. Not recommended for a romantic holiday.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free Wi-Fi, indoor pool, and the 24-hour reception. Staff helped me find a car service on my first visit, nice. I'm excited to return next year!
